BAJA W/NO PASSPORT

Going down with an expired passport? Terrible idea or just bad?

What if you have some other documentation to back it up? Will you be hassled at the US entry?

I have a team member who didnt realize his expired and we need him for the B1K.

Last time I went to Baja, a Friend lost his wallet with ID and Passport. luckily we made color copies of ID's and SS cards. Told them what had happened at the border and we got through fairly easy. This was in 2018. I always take back up documentation

My brother used to go regularly without one. Last time he went to a race with me in Jacume all they did was ask him where he worked and California ID. I've never heard of anyone being held back because they didn't have a passport, worst they can do is go to secondary to prove his citizenship.

If you are a US citizen you don’t need a passport.
