Tim,

I noticed the front beam rebuild project photos seem to have disappeared ... will they be returning?

Thanks!

Nope.

I found out the hard way, that attaching the steering bracket is no trivial pursuit. If you don't have it done by a professional, you better really know what you're doing. I didn't. I put it on and did the Parker Grand Prix. I couldn't even lift a beer after that! The bump steer was helacious! I had a professional cut it off, and do it properly. Other than that, the beam R/R was a piece of cake.

For the sake of comparison, I paid $100 for the beam from drum to drum.

You did. I just felt I needed a good upper body work out that weekend!
Seriously, I can't emphasize enough how easy it looks, but how hard it is!
Big huge thanks to BPMFAB and Kenneth Montijo for getting that mess straightened out.

Am I happy to be driving a car with power steering this year? YES!

Tim, What was wrong with your set up and what had to be changed?
Let us 9 guys know so we wont make the same mistake!!!
I have done two beams on our car and every thing seams ok, but don't want to
make a mistake if I ever have to do it again.
