Can anyone recommend a good belt sander attachment for an angle grinder (dewalt)

ive seem a couple in fabrication clips where they are sanding down around some roll tubing that’s already welded up in a frame

Im not talking about the 1 inch wide king needle ones. Although im always looking out for a pneumatic version of those for cleaning up my crap Fab work lol.

(I’ve seen one or two and either the reviews suck or it won’t work with US available tools)

Go to harbor freight and buy their “finger file”. Not sure exactly what they call it but I’ll attach a photo.

I got one of the china tube sanders, forget brand but it is green in color. I added a spring to give it more tension....thats it, works great. Without the spring though, it sucked.

Dynabrade makes the best stuff but they are not cheap. Look on ebay for used stuff. Air tool is the a lot lighter. The 14000 Dynafile was my favorite. You can use 1/8" to 1/2" belt. Seems like 1/4" belt works the best. For years as a kid I polished welds all day long. Stainless, Brass, Alum, Steel I can frind it all down so you could not see the weld at all. Its mostly used on round tube. There is a sweet spot on the arm with 1in wheel you can blend in welds really nice.

Abrasive wheels and cones can also blend welds good.
