I am thinking about getting a fullsize for a daily driver/tow vehicle for my ranger so my truck doesnt have to be drivable after a race/prerunn ect. I dont make a lot so it will be under 10 grand, but would like it for future build up. I was thinking an mid/early 80's f-150 ext. cab. What do you guys think, will probably be getting it next year. Is there any year that is better, dont want to go too old but would like a 9" rear end c-6 transmission and a 351w if possible.Or possible a different make what is everyones experience would like it to be reliable to a point I know its gonna be 15 some odd years old. Anything that I should steer clear of?
thanks
