The most dangerous thing is they are converting most all lands to "Limited to Designated Routes" status. This will effectively close a majority of this land. To have a designated route it must be signed and fenced and will ugly up the desert. If there is not a current environmental study there will be no designated route. If they spent all their money on signs and offices and don't have money to patrol the routes they will close that area. This is what happened to Red Rock/ Dove Springs area and it is the worst riding and ugly place to go now.
This Is Correct.
I went to last nights meeting and saw a few OHV guys there. Casey Folks was there and didn't look to happy.
This one is serious guys. The best bet for us is Keeping "Alternate #1" (The current RMP) instead of adopting Alternates 2-3 which change the designation from allowing OHV on "Existing Roads, Trails and Dry Washes" to "Only Designated Routes".
If they don't "designate it" you wont be allowed on it.
We need to STOP THIS!
