Was this the first year it was open to bikes? I know it wasn't in the schedule last year... How was it? Same as the P250? Did this take the place of the Henderson 250?

Yes, this was the 1st year for handlebars at the BWDC. Totally different course from the 250, all on Indian CRIT land. This was the last race of the season for the bikes and quads, no handlebars at Pahrump.

He stopped at our checkpoint on Saturday with a broken shock. They are from Utah and this has been a project for them. They've raced snowcross and wanted a similar platform they could race on the dirt. They've done a few short course dirt events but I think this was their 1st "desert" race. I told the rider it must be a beast to handle and he said it was actually pretty easy to ride. I think this is the 3rd different "snow blower" to enter a BITD event, and I don't believe any have finished.

Having owned a snowmobile 20 years ago, I would think the track and sliders would be destroyed in about a lap. The addition of the radiator on the back is interesting.

Thanks for the info.
