I tried to buy this a few years ago from Pete's Estate and had arrangements to pick it up... and the seller screwed me and sold it to someone else the morning I was heading up to get it.

Looking back, I am glad it ended up that way. It would be fun to own, because of its history, but it would be a brutal car to drive and try to run NORRA in for an old guy with a back like mine ;). Its based on an FJ40 as I recall.

Jonathan Ward at ICON had it the last I knew - did he sell it to someone else or does he still have it?

It's selling price prior to his owning it was dirt cheap - relatively speaking.
