Setting up front suspension on my 96 bronco.
Details:
Stock width beams from desolate.
Shock hoops dedolate
3 x 12” swa coilovers
Duralast alcoas with 35” tires
Issue #1)
Right now I am getting 16” travel from bump (1/2” shock shaft showing) to shock fully extended.
Issue #2)
At full lock/ close to full bump, (drivers side wheel turned fully to right) top of tire is rubbing on coilover spring.
I know the 15” alcoas have a 3 3/4” backspace vs 17” wheels with 4 1/2” backspace.
Also tried different setting on upper ball joint cam.
Would moving lower shock mount further in away from tire create other issues? Not sure how to proceed from here.
Thanks
