Guy's,
I have a 1986 FSB with c&T d44 beams and heim radius arms. I am running 2.5x14 saw c/o's. The spring rate is 450/500, I am going to have the shocks rebuilt because I bought them used and they have no oil in them at all. I would like to try and get a idea of what valving would be a good place to start with these. The bronco has a 5.0 v8 working 4x4 and is strapped at 14". Thanks in advance!

Why straped at 14"? You should be able to go 16-17" with that combo.

Valving? would start with .020 comp and .010 on rebound.

it is strapped at 14'' because the steering is now the limiting factor. I will have to get a new steering set up soon then it will go 17 no problem. Thanks for the info!! I will look into that. But curious how did you come up with those numbers?
