I am starting a buggy project and i need some help so i can get it done and done right. Budget is not an issue so dont worry about that. I want it to be reasonably usable without being a full on racing buggy. I have been hearing that I.R.S. rear with 930 cv's is the way to go. Is this really necessary and are there any other alternatives that i should look into. I would like to know the best rear combo to get the best results. I would like to ditch the torsion bar setup and run coilovers in the rear to get the maximum travel and control. Are there any specific trannies to look into, such as the bus transmission which i hear is much stronger than a normal bug transmission. . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i would suggest that if budget is not an issue, you could call a good buggy shop and just tell them how fast you want to go, and how many seats you need. you could also think about a truggy, and leave the irs all together.

put on your seatbelt...
