Building my own fiberglass body ...over my steel cab

Used Great Stuff that I purchased from Home Depot in my Tacoma, but have been buying expanding foam from US Composites lately for other projects I've been working on more recently. It's available in different densities, would probably be much more cost-effective, and have personally found it to be a lot easier to work with. Might want to contact them to inquire about suitability for use in vehicles?

Just wondering, when you put the foil on under the foam what is holding the foam on then? Trying to do something similar to make my own fenders but learning as much as I can first. Thanks

I saw that truck at the Ventura Off road show a couple years ago. He did a good job of finishing it out. He did all the steps properly and ended up with a nice product.
