I have an '00 ranger, and the camber was waaay too negative /--\ (probably about -5° on one side, -4° on the other). I would be willing to bet that your freind simply needs a new eccentric kit for the upper arms. As for the gearing, your friend will probably need to go to 4:56 to run 33's. It would be advisable to upgrade to a larger rear end though, my guess is he's running the stock 7.5 inch rearend... he will probably smoke the 7.5 if he puts gears in it. An explorer 8.8 is a good option, because it will bolt in with few modifications.</blockquote>
