Breaking News: Carl Renezeder has officially announced his retirement at the end of the 2017 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series.

Throughout his career, Renezeder has had 121 wins, 9 short course championship wins, and has won 8 cups.

For the past 19 years, he has been a part of the Lucas Oil family. Forrest Lucas, President and CEO of Lucas Oil Products stated that, "Carl has been a great ambassador for Lucas Oil and for the sport of off-road racing. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. Carl is not just a sponsored racer of Lucas Oil, he has become a close and valued friend."

Team Renezeder is expecting this season of racing to be full of action as they wish to make a stunning exit to a stunning career.

I hope carl can work it out so he can race crandon one last time.Win the world cup race and the lucas oil championship his final season. Carl is class all the way !!!!

So sad to see Carl leaving , but glad he's retiring on top with such an awesome career in both Desert and Short Course . Yes totally agree it would be AWESOME to see him one last time at Crandon but how bout one last desert race too
