i don’t see huge advantage when comparing to modern design ie big fuel cell towards the cab, big spare tire towards the cab not on top of engine. Seems like it would be a challenge to package modern parts into that design. Really intriguing idea though.

That mid engine car was dominating class 5 right when I started racing our baja bug in sportsman MDR. It was the sexiest car around. Didn't you run 7x15s or 750x16s tires all the way around? lot of unique/originally ideas on that car

Well we put about 100 miles on each car. The weekend brought mixed results for each car but overall we had a blast. I was able to hit 4 mins on our test loop which is about 4 seconds faster than my last best, and the other 2 cars regressed on their times so maybe I should stick with this racing thing. Car ran great after 11 months down, needs a cold start tune for sure though.
Zac In the grinch is still the benchmark. He is so damn fast and smooth. Eriks car is a winner. Needs some love and fine tuning but it is predictable at any speed which is a winning combo.

Number hunting is a pain. I had mine used a few times when I was going to use it. At least in MORE you can run the BITD numbers to make two of the same numbers, sort of. I went over the entry list for the previous 3 years and of course the C5C list to make sure I wasn't poaching anyones numbers.

Well here we go. BAP moved. Leaves a big gap between Parker and Spring More race. And a month between fall more race and BAP.
