Been thrashing as if it was my own car over the last week or 2 but she’s ready to test after the prerun this weekend. I’m really looking forward to this opportunity.

I swapped out the old (leaking) radiator (and fans) from Champion Cooling Systems. They have an upgraded BC1193 that's a little heavier, but designed for off-road.

like a replacement top. i know i have seen some 5u cars that looked like they had a factory bug roof.
Most are actual steel roofs. I have not seen a glass roof. Unless you have a pic of one of the cars.

I'm not aware of any off-the-shelf options for a fiberglass body.
I believe Wilkey was having fiberwerks make one for their 6100/ TT bug build, but it's wider and longer than a standard cab. Other than that, "Doug Bug Builder" on Youtube / instagram made his own fiberglass roof that came out really nice. Over the years I feel like I've seen some drag cars with full fiberglass, but haven't been able to find the MFG anywhere. FWIW I have a full steel cab and wish I would have built it as a vert. Harder to prep the car, heavier obviously, and rattles a bit. Fortunately mine is removable where I believe on most of the full-cab Crumco's they are not. For the nay-sayers to the full body, Bean wins often with his, I hope to be there someday 😄

The James Bond of class 5 Steve Tyo laid down a 4 minute lap on our test loop. Easily the fastest first loop ever. Hasn’t driven a race car in 3 years. The legend continues...

I'm starting to get separation anxiety. Wish I was going. Good luck to you all. I'll be watching in-between my sons WORCS races this weekend.

I’ll wait to post the top 2 since it was so close, but Erik and I had a good run for third. We each had a flat but Cade and GBR ran a perfect hard pace and it was too much. Steve and Trevor kept us focused despite a couple mistakes and the future is bright. Feeling humbled but motivated. Thanks to Erik for having me. Feel very lucky to keep getting these opportunities.

The 20 hour drive home makes me really appreciate the team I am so lucky to be involved with. We have multiple cars, drivers, navigators and a crew chief. Everyone knows their roll, owns it, deserves it and wants to perfect it. We can’t succeed without each other and everyone’s input!

The team comes from 3 states with one goal in mind. WIN at all cost while having fun, respecting each other and our competition.

Team Team Train Wreck is the place to be and I hope the photos about speak louder than this post.
