Clean Tube Ends for Welding

Does anyone know what tool is used to clean tube ends and maintain the consistent straight line and distance from the end of the tube like the attached Camburg chassis?

I bought a Hardin HPG-331 to do this, but using a handheld tool has proven to make holding the straight line very tough.

I think if you mounted a stop on the hardin, it would help steady the tube while rotating.

Most of that is done on a lathe with a roll of 2" emery cloth, some spots are done by hand after it's been welded in.

I have one of these tube polishers. It works great and takes a couple seconds to clean the tube for welding. It cost $150 and came with 50 30" belts. I got it on ebay.
