I noticed that in 1976, Larry Roeseler got the overall B1K win on a bike, beating Ivan Stewart by 47 minutes. I was merely a twinkle in my Dad's eye in 76, LR is a beast!

Impressive to say the least, congratulations!!!

I heard someone say that when LR started driving for Toyota he was smoother and could make the equipment last longer than Ivan Stewart. I have a friend that was at a testing session where both guys were testing the truck and he said LR looked way smoother and we all know that ultimately smoother is faster. Not to take anything away from the Ironman...he is still badass, but LR's bike experience helps tremendously I believe.
