    Madness in bike category! Still chances for Barreda instead of all troubles he had in the race before! Idk why but I like the guy and rooting for him.

    this was just shown quasi-live on tv, not looking good, he got knocked out pretty bad.
    Front wheel sank in a soft patch at speed, bike and rider flew about 100ft maybe?
    he tried to get back up. etc. but is probably out.

    KTM may have just saved their Dakar with Walkner taking this stage.

    American riders Short and Samuels had excellent days finishing 6th and 7th with Brabec back in 18th with his earlier excursion

    that hurts. Van Beveren tried to continue after that fall but could not handle the pain. Broken collarbone, blunt chest trauma, injured spine.

    Ive seen this view too many times of other riders and myself being knocked out. Gives me the chills.

    Wrong in that this isn't a race...you may be right on the final finishing order

    So how does SPH beat Nassar by 30 min in the stage yet hie overall time only changed 20 min am I missing something ??
