"While Sébastien Loeb continues to work on his car, Stéphane Peterhansel is making good progress. The Mini driver has built up a one-minute gap on Nani Roma after 50 kilometres and leads Nasser Al-Attiyah by 1'28'."
Quintanilla is showing 9 mins back from stage leader (could be more if RB tracker just isn't workin and he's in the lead). If the stage were to end now RB would now be your overall leader. If his track is correct and he still isn't to WP3 (not likely) that would mean Americas Brother From Another Mother (ABRAM) Toby Price would be your leader.
10:16 Sunderland pulling away
Sam Sunderland's Dakar has been a mixed bag so far, but the Englishman looks in great shape today, capitalising on his position as the 12th rider on the road to open up a gap of 2'18' on Toby Price after 200 km of racing. Adrien Van Beveren is 4'39' adrift, with Pablo Quintanilla struggling at 9'06'. However, take these numbers with a pinch of salt, as we have yet to receive data from Ricky Brabec, also in the mix for the stage win.
