The 4wd thing is for real. PAB drove the wheels off her on the salt flat graded road section below San Ignacio and the 4wd‘s still put time into him. There were sections that we actually clawed back a little time but all in all the 2 year wait for a new 4wd TT is for a reason. Peeps wanna go fast.
The team is always evaluating ways to be more competitive. Getting a 4wd TT these days is harder to do than you’d think. It’s a pretty long waiting list. I’m just a nimrod so I have no idea what the head honchos are working on and what deals they have going but like I said, they are always looking for any way to be more competitive.
He’s not but he’s 54. I think he’s wondering what it might be like to race a TT at 64 years old And if he’ll still love it. He’s been racing since he was 13, he obviously loves racing and I doubt he’ll ever quit.
