Desert Dynamics Dual Sport 16 Digit VIN

We have a 2007 Desert Dynamics dual sport sandrail and it only has a 16 digit VIN. A potential buyer is wanting us to get a report from www.Checkvinreport.com, but it will not give us info since it is only 16 digits. Has anyone else had this problem & how you fixed it or were able to get a printout for the vehicle? Also does anyone have contact info for Desert Dynamics? Thank you!

The 16 digit PIN / VIN you have means the vehicle wasn't designed to be registered or used on public roads. For that reason it won't show up in any 17 digit VIN database. What is the buyer hoping to find out by running this check?

That potential buyer is probably a scammer trying to get you to spend your money on their website. I have sold a handful of vehicles in the classifieds on here and Craigslist and that is one of the most common spam messages I get. Give them the VIN and tell them to buy the report themselves and they suddenly disappear.
