Journee Racing is an all-women’s Race Team that was founded by Journee Richardson and Julie Boyer. Journee Racing was created not only as a competitive Offroad Racing team but a unique way to highlight Breast Cancer education, awareness, and support. Our ½ 1600 car is painted bright pink to promote our cause. We want to encourage everyone that with a little hard work, drive, and dedication, you can do anything you set your mind to!
Journee Racing will be present for all events during the Best in the Desert Mint 400 in Las Vegas, NV from March 3rd through March 11th.
• The Desert Cleanup Operation in Primm NV on March 3rd
• Race Car Parade down the Strip of Las Vegas Blvd. on March 7th
• Two days of Contingency on Fremont Street March 8th and March 9th
• Race day on March 10th
We take great pride in providing Breast Cancer awareness for the Mint 400 and support to the general public through direct education. For this event we have teamed up with The Keep A Breast Foundation™. The Keep A Breast Foundation™ is the leading youth-focused, global, nonprofit breast cancer organization focused on providing direct education. Journee Racing will be actively distributing/discussing educational materials during tech and Contingency Thursday and Friday from our booth on Fremont Street.
Our team will also be selling ribbons that purchasers can place names of survivors, fighters, and those lost to breast cancer on our pink car. The proceeds of our efforts will be donated back directly to breast cancer education and support groups. We have a paypal account set up for anyone who wants to donate but is not coming to the mint. It can be accessed through our webpage Journeeracing.com. The cost is $5.00 each .
Breast cancer is very personal to our team as Julie is a five year survivor of Breast Cancer. It is Journee Racing mission to educate and assist others, as countless lives have been saved by the same efforts of others.
