dual pivot a arms

i post this ideal knowing it might get trashed and it might get parised, we were playing around in the shop today and got the hair for a dual picot a arm, the outer arm would control the uptravel via a bump stop attached to the inner a arm and then when the down travel would come into play it would lockevan with the inner are for the down travel, would the alignment be effected, and how would steering work into this. the rods would have to pivot some how also other wise upon uptravel the wheels would point out. leme know what u guys think, i made kinda scale model outa duct work and aluminum tape, and pictures will be on here if i can get them to go.

That's a little like the idea a while back of having a floating differential with an IRS system. There are ideas like what you have, some patented, mostly for swing arms on motorcycles. It could work, but controlling the movement is the biggest trick. It would likely need to be dampened or leveraged, and not just hitting stops.
