Does anybody have an engine break-in process for a 0-mile crate GM Ecotech? The little research I did they said to make sure you have an oil priming tool, and to use standard (non-synthetic) motor oil.

never seen a break in tool for an ecotech. what i would do is pull the plugs, disable the fuel pump and crank over until you register oil pressure on the gauge.

Pull the plugs and disable the fuel pump. Use non detergent motor oil also known as break in oil because regular oil and especially synthetic have good amount of chemicals (detergent) which are there to clean the engine inside and prevent sludge buildup. You wouldn’t want to wash away the assembly lube which is there to protect your engine during the initial start up.
