Make sure to run a 100 micron filter before the pump and a 10 micron filter after, to protect the injectors.

speaking of fuel filters, is there a reason why canister type filters aren't used more for Dez racing trucks, seems to me it would be much easier to change out the filter element but there must be a reason that is alluding me as to why they are not used, not as much filter area/effectiveness, pressure drop?

As for a fuel pump, I was going to use the msd 2225a but decided I didn't like the barb fitting fused on the terminal side and went to a Walbro GSS-392 for the simple reason that I can us AN fittings for both inlet and exit.

Another question I have is for hardline, what material is typically used for EFI applications, I see alot of Al tubing although I was under the impression that it is a no-no for higher pressure/efi stuff. I want to use the russel aluminum hardline-AN fittings but was told that they were designed for use with Al hardline. Can anybody clarify/confirm any of this, come up with any guidlines or what hardline/fittings should be used?

Thanks guys, any input from experience is greatly appreciated!
Chris
