ELK\'S BBQ PARKER

We have not raced Parker since Whiplash has been promoting the event. I was wondering if the Elk's Lodge still puts on their pre race BBQ? That was always a tradition of ours. There is nothing better than stewed beef and beans with salsa the night before a race.

The Elks Lodge does not put that on anymore. I have not seen the schedule of events for the race yet, but I believe that there will be something down at the Casino Friday night along with thursday night as well. Saturday night the party is always out at the gauntlet, and I also believe a street party is in the works for downtown Parker for friday night, but dont quote me on that. I will let you know when I know more.

Thanks Guys!

It's almost a relief knowing that I will not be attending. I really wasn't all that fond of the beans and salsa the night before the race.
