Hey guys a friend of mine needs help he's looking
for a good engine builder for his class 8 preferable in el Cajon area, San diego
maybe a little farther I don't know how much he's willing to travel.
He wants I think a minimum of 600hp I'm guessing any #'s will be good.
thank you.

I can recommend Danzio Performance. They are more of a "build to what the customer wants" shop rather than a shop where nearly every engine is the same. Ask for Josh or Chris. Tell them Doug Dixon sent you.

Who is your friend with the class 8 ? Is he building a NEW truck, or is he refurbishing an old one ? A Chevy, Dodge, or a Ford ?

We are always interested in hearing about new trucks !

Jim Horne
HP Engines and Dyno
14368 Old Highway 80 in El Cajon
619-443-9990

He can make you power. Jim built motors for Jimco's Class 1 and TT, Hovey, I think he still does Weyhrich's.

Turn key in Oceanside.
Great guys. They just did an engine for our class 1 car and we are very impressed. Excellent customer service and a in house rear wheel dyno to get you dialed in!

I'll second Greg at Total Performance. I know he's built a few high HP engines for a CORR team. He can build anything you want.

Greg at Total Performance for Ford, Jim Horne at HP for GM and Brett at Nutech for anything, he does machine work for all of the above names and others too. If you can afford it go for a Leon Patton.
