I do think F1 does need to make a bigger push into Electric racing.
a lot of big players are heading to Formula E.

If VAG (which owns Porsche) hadn’t got caught cheating on diesel emissions and lost billions Porsche might still be in LMP1.

With the next generation (2022) of Boxster and Cayman announced as being electric only it does make sense that Porsche went to formula e. They love to develop technology through racing.

food for thought.
Mercedes
Audi,
Porsche,
BMW,
Nissan
Mahindra, LoL. Never though of them racing.
Jaguar,
DS Auto from China
and the Penske and Andretti families are all in Formula E.

Some big names.

Most thought bernie was going to pull the big three from f1 last year and start a new series before 2021.
Not saying it won’t still happen but no one wanted to spend the $500m to get into current F1 only for it to fail.
Bernies daughter still owns the logistical rights to F1.
If she pulled and set up shop for his new series... and the only pull FIA has is if you run bernies new series they won’t authorize any FIA sanctioned races at your track.
Well bernie owns 2 tracks and RB owns one and merc Ferrari etc own one and then you have street courses. It was enough
I personally think Mercs new president was the nail in the coffin for bernie new plans. But who knows

Good for Sainz, last passing opportunity of the season and he crushed it.

The late strategy calls made a boring race a lot better. Max's problems seemed to be more in his head than the car.

A season to forget for Ferrari and especially Vettel.
