Here are a few pics of our truck after the BORE race last weekend. We were racing our 7s truck in Heavy Metal and did pretty well even with all the carnage. The truck rolled on the third lap which took us from first and put us in about 6th. Then we broke the strut rod on the passenger side and decided to run it the next 30 miles, back to the main pit to weld it back together. Finally on the last lap, we lost the pick-up coil in the distributor and had to replace that with the one out of my pre-runner to get to the finish line in 4th out of 10 total trucks. The race was 4-50mile laps, the Wendover 200.

Last one, the truck is well on its way to being fixed. It should be in the paint shop in about a week or so, I'll post the finished product in a couple of weeks when it is done.

Paul was in a down hill wash, and at the bottom you would exit out to the right. The turn was two half way deep ruts that were off camber. He made the turn and kind-of goosed it on the way up the side of the wash and went over to the drivers side. It was a very low speed rollover, they were actually cheering on the truck to make a complete roll onto its tires so they wouldn't have to mess with anything. They did get lucky, there was someone sitting right there because he had just flipped another truck back on its wheels and thought he would hang out and take a couple pictures. He is a professional photographer and said he got pictures of our truck actually going over. I have been trying to get a hold of him to get those pictures and will put them up if I can get them.

Jason

P.S. Everyone was alright, just hurt the ego a little!

The attachment is the other truck that rolled right there. Oh yeah, he didn't finish!

I hear you on the staged race thing...it should be all at once, then you seperate the men from the boys. Sucks to hear about the truck, ruts suck for the 7s trucks or any small track width car.

The damage to the right rear was from a 750 hp 8 truck that hit us on his way by the first time. We went back and forth with him in the first two laps about 4 times before he broke.
