San Jacinto, CA - Tony Barraza Designworks is proud to announce the release of our latest creation; paint scheme design and graphic layout for the Sourapas Motorsports/Corona Racing Trophy Truck #6.

After choosing the design, owner Steve Sourapas selected expert auto refinisher Mark Brink and crew at Brink Designs in San Diego, CA to bring the illustration to life, utilizing high quality paint and computer-cut vinyl.

The Porter Race Cars-built TT will debut at this weekend's SCORE Baja 1000. Sourapas will share driving duties with long-time Class 1 competitor Rod Muller (Muller Hood Auto Center) from Riverside, CA.

Great work Tony. I will not get a look at it until it gets to Zoo road so it may not be so shiny by then. Thanks for the peek.

Not to get off the subject, but Tony, I am from Idyllwild and the rest of us are from Hemet. You can be a H.O.R.E. with us if you want, we are making stickers and stuff maybe.... hopefully. Is your shop in San Jacinto? I would love to come and see it some time, I might have something for you to design.

DIRT'S FOR RACING, PRERUNNERS ARE FOR GETTING THERE!

Re: FIRST LOOK: Sourapas Motorsports/Corona Racing

Thanks for the kind words guys! I really appreciate the support.

Jordan: I created all the graphics used to make the image. I hand illustrated the top and profile views of the body, using photo templates. I then scanned that line art into the computer and detailed the image. Once that was complete, I placed the image into Adobe Illustrator, where I did all of the logo placement and layered graphics.

In the case of Alan Pflueger's Protruck, I completely hand illustrated the truck (body, graphics, tires/wheels, etc.) Once completed, I again brought the scanned artwork into Adobe Illustrator and placed all required sponsor logos.

Wally and Kim at Wally World Designs, really brought Alan's concept to life, and enhanced the design with some trick pinstriping and airbrush details.

Thanks for your interest. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions.
