well this was my first time to see the battle at prim. I've always wanted to see this race and go to the mint 400. I've been to the parker az race almost every year for the last 8 years. I've been to Baja 500 as well as the 1000. over all I liked the BAP race layout, I was hoping for a little more viewing area but what they had was good. over all I had a good time watching the race. now here is the bad, I stayed at Buffalo Bills resort and casino. I went to bed early due to being tired with a do not disturb sign on my hotel door handle. I won't do that again, 3 different time in the middle of the night I had people that were knocking on my door. I went by myself didn't tell anyone were I was staying so I figure it was some jack*** creating chaos. as I walked out my door on the 12th floor I noticed a styrofoam food container, (from the Mexican restaurant down stairs) that had a uneaten taco inside. the contents had been stomped into the carpeting of the hall floor. I went a few more steps, and there were cigarette butt, that were laying on the carpeting, that were put out on the wall of the hall. mind you this is a non smoking floor. thank god there wasn't a fire. when I entered the elevator I noticed the drop ceiling panel that was made out of plastic was shattered all over the elevator flooring. upon exiting the elevator on the 1st floor, I noticed somebody put there fist through the drop ceiling paneling in the entrance to the elevator. a few more feet and there is another panel on the floor broken in multiple pieces. so I go to the check out counter to check out, and I inform the lady about all the destruction I just saw. she tells me this stuff happens every time the off roaders come to town for a race. I inform her that all off roaders are not like the jack***'s that created this destruction. she also informs me the night before the off roaders had a food fight by the food court and it took the hotel crew 4 hours to clean up the mess. if any of you are involved in any of this, all I have to say is KARMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have never seen anything like this at any other race I have ever been to.I have rooms reserved for the mint at Buffalos as well as on fremont street but I am thinking, do I really want to go?

I say lets start a fund for info leading to the arrest of the jackass. Casinos have cameras everywhere also. Lets show the properties that desert racers don't condone this. I have the 1st donation who wants to lead it SNORE.

What happened at the hotel really sucks. I'm sure the hotel is not loosing out on having us there. It was at full capacity! But the dumb ass should really switch to water or soda....

What I didn't really like was the short laps. That course was wasted quick. Awesome job snore. Can't wait for the next one.

I was in the drive thru line at McDonald's when that happened. We heard a ton of yelling but we couldn't see, I figured it was people in the parking lot arguing over the drive thru line and people wanting to get out. Well my race partner happen to walk in right after and saw everything and believe it or not we were the last one to get our food and we saw the guy just laying on the floor. I heard they caught the guy that did it.

It was explained to me that the shortened course was because SNORE didnt use any of the BLM land like the fence line along the California border. I heard it saved them like 24 grand doing this.

No excuse for this behavior IRT the jack-wad/s damaging the hotels...period. The McDonald's knife-ing, at this point, appears to be a random violent act. I'm sure we'll learn more as time goes on.

BAP has become known for partying and drinking almost as much as for hard racing. When you hear veteran racers speak of the event, first they talk about the tough course (it was NOT in my opinion more tore-up than usual), then then next thing they talk about is the "tree bar" shenanigans.

@dan200 is correct as the Las Vegas BLM Branch office continues to try to profit from OHV Special Use Permit fees which are above that which would be reasonably expected. Basically, they are levying illegal taxes with no over-sight onto us Competitive OHV users. This is all part of why SNORE is doing lots of racing the last couple years outside of our traditional Southern Nevada areas. Do not forget, the BLM is trying to block public OHV land access so they don't have to deal with (get sued by) the well funded and organized eco-terrotists.

Same thing as last year, the hallway leading to the elevators looked like a bomb had gone off with broken tiles all over the floor and trash everywhere...last year, there was a wrestling tournament held the same weekend. These people were shocked at what they saw sunday morning...

Always will have bad apples. And they will ruin it for the rest of us who are respectful.

The Primm resorts arrested several persons for vandalism Sunday 2 were there for the race the other were there for the concert that was canceled . The vandalizing charge with cost them restitution for the damage and 3 to 18 months in prison. Other than that it was a great event.

The damage to punching out of the ceiling tiles has happened every year that I have gone to the race. One year on a Sunday morning I walked done a entire hallway that was punched out. It is truly a disgusting act that makes you feel embarrassed to be associated with the race. This is not what the racing community as a whole represents. It is good to hear that some arrest were made.

Post the names & images of the guilty parties and their affiliations if any. We also need to ride herd on our own...

Is all the vandalism done in tower B? Reason I ask this is my 8th or 9th year at BAP and the most vandalism I recall is stickers in the elevators. But then again we always request to be in Tower A so I can watch the race from my room while my girl sleeps

having Buffalo Bill's so close to the racing is really a big benefit and convenience to us all. I hope somebody apologizes to the hotel management and tells them we getting after any off-road perps, maybe even a promise it won't happen again?
