I found this guy John Marcella on another site I"m on. He seems like a nice guy and knows quite a bit about intake manifolds.
I'm planning on having him make one for my car later this year once I get the remaining parts for my engine buildup.

So I thought I'd share some pics of his work.

The big question is where do they get all these nifty aluminum pieces? They are intricate, thick walled and look expensive! Are all these pieces available from local metal houses?

I'm guessing he's got a cnc machine or has a cnc shop making his components. Some parts looks like "off the shelf" material that is machined to fit the application. The fittings, tubing for rectangular risers, and the bend are all available.

I'll be building an LSX 454 for my buggy. I still have a few things to work out, but for the most part it should have 650-700HP conservatively. I'm keeping it normally aspirated and keep it real simple. Don't want to have all of the bling just good parts that work. I'll post pics when it gets closer though.

VERY impressive. . .the welds are all extremely consistent!

The fit-up and jigging of that stuff has to be very time consuming to come up with those results!

Wow!! topnotch work. I've been primarily working as a thin wall aluminum and stainless steel TIG welder/fabricator for 13 years and I must say VERY NICE!! There Isn't too many people I would Have weld or build that I could do myself, but I would be proud to have that on my engine. Thanks for sharing.:D
