They are the best 7/8 shaft adjuster on the market. You get about 25-30% increase in compression damping from all the open to all the way closed. But they are velocity sensitive as opposed to position sensitive on a bypass shock. For a race application you just can't go wrong with bypass.
I really don't need/want a bypass on the front. My front suspension works excellent for 90% of the terrain, I just want to be able to tune the little bumps (stuff that would use less than an inch of stroke) out. 2-3 hours of that poop non-stop is enough to make ya puke! velocity sensitive sounds to be exactly what I need.
