Hey i have some new springs and its sitting a little high. So i was wondering how much preload do you need to have to keep the springs tight. Seems like i remember 1"? Also should i expect it to settle some. ?

You need to jack it up to full droop to see for sure. I'd say you need a a full turn of preload at full droop to ensure they are always under pressure. If that changes your ride height, you need to change either rate, length, or both.

Like above, There’s no set answer, depends on length of springs. Jack the truck up so the shocks are drooped then put just enough preload to keep them tight.

1" of preload in front, 2" in rear.
