Well, the boy in my avatar is now 18! He is starting his first build on his 74 Supercab. I haven’t posted pics since photo-bucket ransom. Giving it a shot.

Like all good apprentice, he started with a broom! MiG, then eventually got to the Dynasty! He has been gearing up for this for a long time.

Looks like you are a fab shop? What's the name if you are?

Why cut the original frame if you're going full tube?

Is that "My big thing" build from here?

Frame has VIN number, so will go to scrap. We will save any VIN numbers to apply to new chassis

Ps. Make an offer if you need a transfer case. From a 2014 Reaper with 30k miles.

This is badass!! It's so awesome that you can guide your son in the right direction

I hope that someday I can be this way with my son! Pop's is supportive but his kind of a prerunner involved 33s and fabtech suspension haha. I gotta get into this CAD game!

excited to see what happens with this build

Now we are pretty much waiting on Weston at McQueen for the Fiberglass to set the cab location. I know within a few inches, but until we can center the front end, a bit cautious on getting to far.
We are also in great debate on how best to clear the cowl. Looks like the intake will need to come off for engine install due to the blower. If we were not running a front windshield, piece of cake. I don’t think Jerry is around here much anymore, but if you happen to be, I’d be appreciative and curious what your cowl to front axle dimension is.

CAD still needs a lot of work, but played around a bit with the “Reaper” theme. Still need to decide on one flat, two flat or two vertical spares.
