My buddy Gary has the most unique Vintage Racer that is truly a time capsule!

That thing is cool!! What exactly is it?
Gary raced Bronco's in the early 70's. He had "The Horse With no Name". This is a full tube mid engine Ford that he built. It was built in 78-79. Modeled after the Big Oly Bronco. Raced in the early 80's.

Jeff, that pic of it with a bunch of cars in a starting area looks maybe like a VORRA race. Some of those buggies seem familiar.

Gary is from Denver. The Exponent raced mostly race around Colorado. Hopefully he can get his posting issues figured out and tell you more.

That photo was taken by me at the HDRA's 1981 short-course race at the Pikes Peak Meadows horse track in Colorado ...

Pretty sure this is from Exponent's first race -- 1979 Colorado West 200 outside Grand Junction. Photo courtesy of Gary Plagman.
CORRECTION: This photo is from the 1979 Colorado West 200 ... but Exponent actually debuted at the same race a year earlier.
