The GG Lighting Freedom Cup has officially been moved to July 17-18 at Glen Helen Raceway.

After analyzing all the feedback from racers, MORE has also decided to make the Freedom Cup a points race, counting towards the 2020 Jamar Championship Series Points.

With this change, also comes a change in the point system that will make it more economical for race teams to compete for a championship in 2020. This change also allows teams to take advantage of the GG Lighting Freedom Cup to earn points, but does not harm any racers that choose not to participate:

ALL FIVE 2020 RACES WILL BE POINTS RACES
ONLY YOUR BEST 4 WILL COUNT TOWARDS YOUR POINTS TOTAL
COMPETE IN 4 RACES IN THE SAME CLASS - 8 BONUS POINTS
NO DNF'S IN 4 RACES - 16 BONUS POINTS

The Freedom Cup will feature a unique "Supercross" style format: Practice/Qualifying, 1st Moto, LCQ Moto, and the Main Event Moto.

Additional classes for this event include:
Two Youth UTV Classes and a Sportsman UTV Class.

There will also be a Class 11 Shootout Class with special events on the 4 mile Grand Prix Course as well as the Lucas Oil Short Course.

Friday night under the lights there will be a $200 buy in class based Head 2 Head Bracket Challenge on the Lucas Oil Short Course.

Complete details can be found on the website:

We did the first drawing today and the winner was Pat Pring 992. Get entered today so you have a shot at the next drawing when we hit 30 entries.

You can walk or ride a pedal bike and access the whole park. There will only be a few small sections that you wont be able to spectate. Pit bikes and UTVS will not be allowed. You can drive from one end to the other also, but we don't people trying to "Chase" around the 4 mile loop.

, is there a ' pit' competition?, , but, make it a chase competition, your chase team has to pull up, unload whatevers broke, out of fully loaded chase truck, fix race car , then drive race car past timer, quickest wins
