I've been trying to get ahold of Tim at Glassworks for a few days now. I tried the phone and e-mail with no luck. Anyone know if he's around? If anyone has an alternate number I might be able to reach him at I'd appreciate it - I need some S-10 glass.

I've been trying to get ahold of Tim for days. I started Wednesday morning and gave up this afternoon. If he's at the races it's even worse... that means he's either out playin' while I'm out workin' --- or he's workin' so hard he gave up on the outside world. :)

I talked to him on wed afternoon, The thing about glassworks is that its loud and tim is usualy in the shop so you have to either leave a message or call back every so often and hope he is near the office phone.

Thanks everyone... I got ahold of Tim today. He called and returned my e-mails. I went down to HB, had a quick chat with Tim, got the glass I needed and off I went. During our chat I was talking to Tim about Primm and he said he had a hell of a time finding "spectator access" - anyone else run into this?

With a 60k F150 he should have been able to get access everywhere :)

not so good on the spectator access...past 2 years, i've watched at a spot off of the 15 at the jean off-ramp...unfortunately, the race didn't go through there this year...it was more in around the base of the mountains this year. we did see a bunch of people, right off the 15, just past the pits...was a pass required to get to this spot??? looked like a good area to me, and i didn't see any blm...seemed like a hard right off the freeway, and there you were... as far as the grandstand section, where we ended up....awfully dusty, but oh well...those trees weren't helping see what was going on, either....could be a better infield section, but i can't complain, since it was free seating...not much extra $$ to pay for bulldozers/track builders, i guess

that, and the casinos took WAY TOO MUCH of my money.......

Kritter-

Part of the problem is that Tim was in a $60,000 RED prerunner. Hard to miss that thing anywhere. He said that at every turn he'd come face to face with another worker telling him NO-CAN-DO. I was just wondering if anyone experience some of the spectator DRAMA that's been taking place state side lately. I think I'm going to enter a SCORE legal Greyhound bus in the next state side race (stock fullsize class) and pay the regular entry fee. I'll load it with paying "co-riders" and then just pull over somewhere where the course is interesting. Charge $35 bucks a head (includes lunch and soda) with seating for 50... I'd make $1750 bucks. I guess 51 SCORE legal harnasses might be expensive but I bet I could get it sponsored - a big ol' black "CROW" looking bus. Hmm...

Is that Black F-150 that is for sale in the classifieds Tim's truck? It says 4" wider per side but other than the glass, it looks pretty stock to me. What did they do to it? It is a 4x4.

See ya in the dirt!
