First of all forgive me for being a little late with this update.

Recently Green Army traveled to Ridgecrest CA to race in the 2009 KC Midnight Special. Two cars were entered in the race, our #1321 car and our #1085 car.
Driver Justin Davis and co-driver Brett Hansen started the race in the #1321 car and quickly began to pass everyone they encountered. By the end of the first lap we ended up with a pretty healthy power steering leak. We filled her up with fluid and made a driver and co-driver change. Driver Ashley Davis and co-driver Troy Holes would finish the race stopping a few times a lap to keep power steering fluid in the car, Ashley and Troy manage to finish an impressive 3rd place regardless of all their mechanical issues. Congratulations!

Driver Daniel Folts started in the #1085 car and made a screaming first couple of laps. After two laps we pitted the car, gas it up and made a quick driver change. Justin Davis would climb in to finish the race. At least that was the plan. Half way through the 3rd lap we were hit by a 1 car going around 80, it hit so hard the motor separated from the trans and the rear cage was cracked in several places. Justin was hurt bad and opted to get out and let Daniel drive the rest of the race. Daniel climbed back in and drove the car to 1st in class. Great Job guys.
A special thanks to all the Green Army Crew and all of our awesome sponsors!
