Progress?
Not much. The truck is still at McQueen. They tell me they will have the rear glass and molds done soon.

In the mean time I've started to put the new engine/trans together:

IMG_7272.JPG

6.0 LQ4 bottom end
L92 heads (LS3 with slightly heavier valves)
Texas Speed and Performance Stage 3 Cam
PAC double springs (good for .650 lift)
Hardened Chromoly pushrods (Also from TSP)
China LS3 sheetmetal intake
China head stud kit
GM MLS LS3 head gaskets
LS7 lifters and trays
50LB GM injectors
411 truck PCM
Centrifugal air filter setup (From one of the McMillin TTs)
Truck accessories (easy to find parts in baja)
HD Turbo 400

Stuff I need need to source:

2500 stall converter (from TCS hopefully)
LS3 rockers and stands
Motor mounts (Autofab now makes them)
Radiator
Headers
Oil pan (Not sure what I need to clear steering)

Hopefully I'll get the truck back so I can start thrashing on it soon. I miss it!

If McQueen is on schedule where they expected to be last week the front clip is done and only the bedsides need to be finished. Hopefully I can pick the truck up going to or coming back from the 1000. Sadly I'm stuck with a Gen 2 raptor instead of my Dodge this year to chase with.

They have not sent any photos lately for me to show off tho. From what I can tell many people are waiting for this glass to be done for their own trucks. Coffin, Trego, and others. Hopefully it will be a successful product for McQueen.

Nice, might have to book that one early next one. We ended up at some place I've never heard of in Loreto for the week prior.
