Building some new course through areas that have never had roads before. About 16 miles of new course is being created for this race.

Course maps and GPS files will be available at the Wide Open office at the Tahoe-Reno Motorplex office when you register and sign waivers for recon runs. Office is located at 420 USA Parkway which is Exit 32 off I-80 east of Reno. Course maps and GPS files will also be available to registered participants during Tech/Contingency hours on Friday

The download will be provided when you stop at the Wide Open Reno office at 420 USA Parkway. Just need to sign releases and check for HDRA memberships.

Loop 1 is 16.6 miles
Loop 2 is 40.96 miles
Loop 3 is 20.3 miles
Loop 4 is 23.47 miles

Total mileage is 101 miles
One hundred one miles of race course on 130 square miles of land. You won't believe the views.

There is a pit after each loop and they are all within minutes of main pit.

To all,
The bulldozers just finished punching through the last canyon and I got a call with the actual lap mileage as it stands today.

Lap length is 103 miles. Starting intervals will be 1 car per minute. Starting order will be as listed below:

OT & 1 – in order of qualifying and new entries added to the rear – 5 laps
HM & 8 – in order of qualifying and new entries added to the rear – 5 laps
10 & 3000 – in order of qualifying and new entries added to the rear – 5 laps
7 – 5 laps
12 & 1600 – 5 laps
WO – 5 laps
1400 - in order of qualifying and new entries added to the rear – 4 laps
1500 – 4 laps
5-1600 / 9 & 7s – 4 laps
2000 & 8000 – 4 lap
1900 – 4 laps

We are still receiving entries and if a class grows to 5 or beyond, they will be added to the qualifying list. Thanks you for your patience.
This info was on the Hdra forum.

Can ORV stickered vehicles be used as pit / chase vehicles?

Meaning I have a pre runner with a rack on top for spares and tools that we want to use to go between pits, however Im not sure if we have to drive on public roads to get to them.

Thanks

There is a 15mph speed limit for chase vehicles on the dirt roads. All vehicles must be insured. To drive to pit C you must have a street legal licensed vehicle.
