I am in the market for some new heads for my truck and was wondering who makes aftermarket heads for the 4.0 and if the are better than stock? If it matters my truck is a '97. Thanks in advance for the help.

Last year when I was checking they only make reworked heads. Nobody manufactured aftermarket heads.

You can switch up to a 98+ ohv and that will bump up your compression and they supposedly flow better too.

Go to the 4.0L board, these guys know every way to squeeze more power out of it.
