If they will have these for gen2 Raptors I'll be buying one ASAP!
I emailed them, no immediate plans for a gen2 Raptor as of this moment. They make them for trucks now. Check it out... Air Filtration That Keeps Your Truck's Filter Cleaner & Lasts 25x Longer
Both the Helmet and Engine Particle Separator can handle fine to medium sand without the fans breaking. That being said, if you get roosted often, small/medium pebbles will damage the blades. I wouldn't put a screen in front of the vortexes with any of our Particle Separators as that could just get clogged with debris and restrict the entire system. You can keep pebbles/rocks from being roosted into your Helmet Particle Separator by simply positioning the vortexes facing the rear of the vehicle as you don't need RAM air for the system to work properly. Just make sure the Particle Separator stays level.ProFORMANCE said:
So what happens to the centrifuge fan when the front tire kicks up, or the vehicle in front of you roosts massive quantities of fine to medium sand directly into the intake of the particle separator? Does all this sand then pass through (or need to pass through) the centrifuge fan to fully and completely exit the unit?
