Fellow Off-road racers and fans, our relatively newly formed Booth Brothers Racing team will be racing in the '17 NORRA race and are very much looking forward to event.

We are also currently raising funds to support a 503(c) philanthropy Baja Bound - which builds small, 1 room homes for hard-working agricultural workers in the Maneadero, Baja Mexico area just south of Ensenada. If you've been down the peninsula you know the types of working conditions these folks work under and the pallet and cardboard huts in which these simple families live.

Please consider helping our philanthropy project by donating what you can and most importantly by sharing this family's story throughout your social media accounts. All donations are 100% tax deductible. The Baja Mexico community has done so much for our sport of off-road racing we wanted to give back - and this "Habitat for Humanity-like" project is a small but powerful way to do so. Thanks much for your help and support!

We still need our off-road community's help! Thus far we have raised $2,670 or 21% of our total goal of $12,850 needed for home materials and our 12/30/2016 fundraising deadline is just days away. Please consider a 100% tax-free donation...whether $25, $250, or more to help move a working family of 6 out of their cardboard, pallet and tarp hut into a warm, dry, insulated home! Please also share the Pablo family story and our team's philanthropy throughout all your social media accounts. The Pablo family truly appreciates your generosity!

Hello Scott and good for you putting together this housing project! Helped build two homes in Maneadero through our church years ago and will never forget the experience. Will be donating, but wanted to contact you first about your upcoming Norra effort and whether you might still be building crew for it?
Been crewing for Score and Norra races for years and not going to miss the 50th anniversary race!
Will send you a pm. Thanks, Greg

GREAT NEWS! After receiving some generous late donations, as well as some matching funds and a grant from Verizon Foundation, we will be building and completing our adopted Baja family's home this week! Hammers will start swinging on Thursday, and we expect to have the home dedication for the family this Saturday, 1/14. Thanks again to those who donated to this effort to give a little something back to the Baja community that have always been such great supporters of our off-road racing sport!

Please check back to our blog on our team website www.boothbrothersracing.com for build progress photos!

Desert racing fans - Last week a small but mighty group of volunteers traveled to Maneadero, BC Mexico to build a simple, insulated 3 room house for single mom Guadalupe Mariano and her 3 sweet kids Lizzet age 14, Julissa age 13 and little Leobardo age 8. Despite a very rainy and chilly day 2 of the build - in just 3 short days we went from a bare concrete slab to a fully framed, insulated, roofed, drywalled home for Guadalupe's family.

See our race team's blog on our website for lots of photos from each day of the build. We are grateful to have completed this philanthropy home build to be able to give back to the Baja community that has always been so supportive of our off-road racing all across the peninsula. Thanks much to those who supported the fundraising effort! We're looking forward to making this philanthropy an annual effort to help our amigos in Baja!
