LOL, I thought you meant a real Hemi, I was gonna say there might not be much room for a real 426 in there. :eek:.

yes.. theres a yellow 98 with a hemi a high schooler did.. looked clean

Do you know what engine he used and whether or not it was street leagl?

thinkin a charger srt-8 built by stacked performance out of anaheim ca

The **BAN ME ** appears when you use profanity in your posts.

The 600 to 700 lb estimate is for the original 426 Hemi. The SRT-8 out of the Charger isn't much lighter, with a dry weight of 590 lbs.

I would look towards a 5.0L out of an Explorer. It's a fairly common conversion, and parts are readily available for the engine if you choose to boost the HP.
