Ol school pic of Herbie. We raced the Honcho. Starter locked up at the parade. Kiiled the batteries. Had charging problems the hole race. Got a lap in.
Took it to the local car show to support our Veterans.
OG pic of Holy Toledo from the late 60s.
Then and now. 50 years later

I just found this thread, My dad (Orrin Nordin) drove for Brian Chuchua as well and was the driver of the 366 Holy Toledo. He raced a 2wd Jeep CJ6 in the first Baja 1000 in 1967 and won the production 2wd class.

I'm lovin all this old Jeep history! Thanks for sharing.

I have a big box of cibie oscars and super oscars, the worst off road light ever made. We ran them at the Riverside and the 1975 Baja 1000 and I had the bright idea of running them at the More 500 a few years ago as I forgot how bad they were in the dark. We went to Kc daylighters in 1976 and the Cibies sat in that box from 75 till I put them on my car for the More race. Most are like new with covers

Hi Dave.
I tried to get KC lights and Vision X on board. They blow me off. Sucks all the way around. Lol.
Putting it back Old school.
Do you want to get rid of the lights.
I can use them on both my jeeps.
