I installed an updated front end on my truck and I had to upgrade to a 9007 headlight from a 9004..the pigtail was the same but now my brights are always on when the headlights are on. Anybody know whats up with that? Is it a bulb thing? All teh other pigtails that I had to wire up had amtching colors. Could it be a fuse issue and the lights failure mode is on brights?

Just wondering if anybody has ran into this before I go troubleshoot.

Something I ran into that may shed some light (no pun intended). Some vehicles wire power to the center terminal of an incandesent/H4 and ground either end terminal thru a relay. My Yoter has a relay for the center power, as well as relays for both high and low beams.
Old school US wiring was to ground the center and supply either outer for which ever beam was selected.

I'm guessing that even though it physically plugs in, the wiring of the bulb is different. Cut & splice time.....

I used swerve around my halucinations, now I drive right thru them.
