Does anyone know if the Hummer H2 (17") wheels take special lug nut?

I picked up a matched 14-bolt rear/Dana 60 front set of 8-lug axles and then I was able to snag a set of 40x13.50x17 BFG MTR's mounted on the Hummer H2 17" wheels and I picked up a couple of 9/16" lug nuts (open ended cone nuts) to hold the wheels/tries onto the axles and the H2 wheels appear to be machined for some very wide lug nuts and the stud holes in the wheels are pretty large as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi, I use H2 rims on my H1. The best lug nut is the big Ford nut used on all the 3/4 ton trucks. I dont have the part number but if you contact RT Cepek (recognize the name??) at http://www.hummerproducts.com/ he will be able to tell you.

good luck!

For the info of all the part number is Dorman 611061. . .they are 9/16"-18 TPI and measure 1 1/16" across the flats so they are wide enough for the H2 wheels.

Yep, I have H2 wheels on my F250 and I'm using stock lug nuts. They have been on there with 35"s and then 37"s for about 3-4 years now.

Bumping this up.....Thanks for the part number for the 9/16" nut. Does anyone have a good part number for a 1/2" nut? Dorman's site is horrible for searching through!
