When using an aftermarket ignition controller on a EFI motor, what other kinds of upgrades usually occur at the same time. I know that on N/A motors, you would usually change the distributor, but I don't know about EFI
on my late 80's efi 302 all i did was add the msd box. the ford factory ignition is very good, and distributor works well up to 7000 rpm. sure you can do more, but if the benefits you are looking for are in the box, that's all you need.
