Cobertura Baja 1000: Rosarito Beach Desert Challenge para septiembre
"Ensenada, Baja California - Finally, Rosarito will have its own off road race organized by Score International and which will be held in September.
The director of Score in Mexico, Abelardo Grijalva, announced that the event will be a part of a series by Score International, called Rosarito Beach Desert Challenge, and will be similar to what is done in Laughlin, Nevada.
The race will start in Puerto Nuevo, and they are discussing the idea making a two-day race of 20 miles per class, until completing 150 or 200 miles.
Abelardo Grijalva said that for the moment, Score is not organizing events in the United States, only in Mexico, which are as follows:
San Felipe 250 25 to February 28 * is not yet defined whether it will be in San Felipe.
Baja Sur 500 from 14 to 17 April with a possible start and finish in La Paz.
Baja 500 from 1 to 5 June in Ensenada.
Rosarito Beach Desert Challenge from 14 to 18 September.
Baja 1000 from 16 to 20 November.
The director of Score stated that they are working to run the Baja 1000 to La Paz, however with the 50th anniversary of the Baja 1000 coming up the next year (2017) Score intends to organize something spectacular like a race of 2000 miles with large prizes."
